About 60 Nigerians died while scrambling for food or palliative from the rich in Nigeria. The Oyo, Abuja and Anambra episode questions the ability of the political class in Nigeria to manage our economy.
It’s a classical indictment on the various leadership of the country.
We have reduced life expectancy to almost zero.
There’s urgent need to regig the economic methology and also reduce corruption in the system.
Refusal to critically question past governments is an act of accomplish to economic crime.
It’s sorrowful to note that those citizens who died scrambling for what to eat would have been alive if proper economic development plan was put in place for years.
The mastering of hunger as a lethal to weaken the masses so as not to question bad government may boomerang someday.
It’s shameful that Nigerians cannot eat a square meal a day. We have been redused to animals in our blessed nation.
How did we get to this sorry state of affairs.
Our collective docility has made us economic prisoners.
We must stop the happy slave mentality and take back our nation from political warders.
I call for resistance to poverty through resistance to bad government. Nigerians has no business with poverty. It’s self-imposed.
