Amalu Commends NASS On Passage of SEDC Bill

…Says it will Facilitate Infrastructural Development

Enugu State-born political powerhouse, Pastor Tony Amalu who recently joined the All Progressives Congress has commended the National Assembly for the swift passage of the South East Development Commission (SEDC) Bill.

Pastor Amalu deemed this to be a true testament of the political sagacity and leadership prowess displayed by both Senate President H.E. Sen. Goodwill Akpabio and Speaker of the House of Representatives RT Hon. Tajudeen Abbas adding that the 10th Assembly has indeed proven to be working towards fostering unity and overall development within Nigeria.

Applauding the lawmakers who sponsored such an imperative bill, he urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to swiftly sign off on this legislation.

Amalu emphasized that once the South East Development SEDC Bill is enacted into law, it will facilitate infrastructural development plans of the President Tinubu’s Federal Government administration which will ultimately have a positive impact on both economic growth and regional security in Southeastern Nigeria; thereby reducing incidences of agitation amongst South Easterners due to alleged discrimination or marginalization.
