Anambra State Gets Security Boost As Governor Soludo’s Initiative Gains Momentum

The Anambra State government has received a major boost in its efforts to ensure peace and security in the state, as a pan-Nigeria security organization, Peace and Media Advocacy, has expressed its support for Governor Charles Soludo’s security initiative.

According to Comrade James Okonkwo, initiator of the group, Governor Soludo’s signing of the Homeland Security Law has been a game-changer in the state’s security landscape. “This law has energized security operations in the state, and we commend the governor for his proactive approach to addressing the security challenges facing the state,” Okonkwo said.

The group also praised the members of the Anambra State House of Assembly for their swift passage of the Homeland Security Bill, describing it as a demonstration of their commitment to the welfare and security of the people.

Peace and Media Advocacy called on the people of Anambra State to support the governor’s security initiative and to be vigilant in reporting any suspicious activities to the authorities. The group also urged the opposition to desist from politicizing the security situation in the state, saying that security is a collective responsibility that requires the support of all stakeholders.

In addition, the group appealed to religious leaders in the state to use their platforms to preach peace and love, and to encourage their followers to support the government’s efforts to ensure peace and security in the state.

Finally, Peace and Media Advocacy called on town unions in the state to revive their vigilante groups, saying that this would help to boost security in the state and ensure that the people can go about their daily activities without fear of molestation or harassment.
