As Nigerians demand answers from the authorities following the allegations against several high-ranking Nigerian government officials which has glinted significant uproar within the political landscape.
The Allegations reportedly associated with Bashir Hdeija who is currently under arrest targets the Minister of State for Defense, the Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS), the National Security Adviser, the Inspector General of Police (IGP), other prominent figures.
Bashir Hadeija was arrested over his alleged involvement in serious transnational crimes, and stands accused of treason, subversion of the state and disseminating of misleading information against certain high-ranking government officials.
Hadeija’s arrest has heightened scrutiny and elicited reactions from diverse sectors, including notable figures such as Zamfara State’s Governor and a former National Security Adviser.
During the interrogation by the Nigeria Police Force at the Force Headquarters, it was alleged that Hadeija implicated several prominent individuals including officials in the Ministry of Defence, Zamfara State Government, a former National Security Adviser, and a former Director of the DSS. Notably, the Minister of State for Defence was conspicuously not mentioned.
It is evident that Hadeija has also been captured in photographs with various high profile Federal Government officials, including the Minister of Defence. There are assertions that certain political figures are bidding to establish connection between the suspect with the Minister of State for Defence for political details.
