The Chief Press Secretary to the Anambra State Governor, Mr. Christian Aburime has said that the All Progressives Congress APC does not exist in Anambra state.
Aburime who responded to claims by the APC that the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) will die a natural death in 2025, stated that it was merely a figment of their imagination because no such thing would ever happen.
According to Aburime, the people of Anambra have accepted APGA as their own political movement and there is nothing opposition parties like APC can do about it.
The governor’s press secretary maintained that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s federal government led by APC is known for democracy and would not interfere with elections in other states since they know fully well that APC does not exist nor will it ever exist in Anambra state due to its strong support for APGA.
The CPS also clarified that there was no basis for comparison between Anambra and Ebonyi State as even opposition elements could see what Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo has been able to achieve within two years of his tenure.
He maintained that in than two years, the Governor has turned the entire state into a construction site with visible infrastructure developments across all sectors including free education policies, free antenatal and delivery services alongside gifts for nursing mothers.
Aburime also emphasized that APGA is naturally the party of Ndi-Anambra, hence they are ready to support them while stating categorically that power belongs only to people who are happy with what Soludo is doing.
