On Tuesday, March 25th, 2025, the Peace Conference Hall at the Force Headquarters in Abuja witnessed a momentous occasion, the decoration of AIG Augustine Grimah amongst others by the Inspector General of Police, IGP Egbetokun.
This milestone achievement marks a significant milestone in AIG Grimah’s illustrious career in policing, a testament to his exceptional commitment to service, unwavering dedication to policing, and tireless efforts in advancing the interests of the Nigerian Police Force.
Grimah, expressed his gratitude to God and thanked the Inspector General of Police, for recommending for his promotion.
He has come a long growing from the Rank of ASP and by March 2025 he is profiled as AIG Augustine Grimah
AIG Augustine Grimah, formerly the Commissioner of Police (CP) in Cross River State, has built a reputation for maintaining excellent relationships with stakeholders. Under his leadership, Cross River State earned a reputation as one of the crime-free states in Nigeria. His promotion to the rank of AIG was well-deserved, given his exemplary service and visionary leadership.
In his new posting as AIG Zone 10 Police Command, Sokoto State, opened a new chapter for him to further demonstrate his service responsibilities and capabilities as one of United Nation Mission officers.
As AIG Grimah begins his new role of acclamatising himself with the security terrain of Zone 10 Police Command in Sokoto State, Nigerians will be availed to witness his impact.
His decoration is witnessed by his wife Mrs Grimah, who decorated him alongside the IGP, Son and as well, he was surrounded by well-wishers, including journalists, family members, friends and colleagues.
