Hurray! It’s election season again in Anambra State, and a notorious scammer—a so-called political priest and fake prophet—is at it once more, using his alter as a conduit for desperate politicians. This article is not an attack on Fada Ebubemounso or his questionable miracles; rather, it serves as an invitation to explore the facts, particularly those surrounding the 2021 gubernatorial election, during which he lied that he supported Soludo. This bogus claim is quite laughable!
Furthermore, this piece challenges Fada Ebubemounso to identify where he openly supported Soludo, naming him as Chief Obiano’s successor in the 2021 gubernatorial election. He should also name any candidate he has supported in any election who has won.
EBUBEMOUNSO SCAMMED CHUKWUMA UMEOJI
This is a short story about how Hon. Chukwuma Umeoji was deceived in 2021 before the scammer priest shifted his focus to Senator Andy Uba. To this day, the victims have not recovered from his fraudulent actions.
In early 2021, as part of his consultations in Anambra North, Rev Fr Manafa and Chief Primus Odili suggested and took Soludo to meet with Ebubemuonso at Umudioka. At the meeting he regaled his visitors about the prospects of Umeoji. He asserted that Adaora Umeoji of Zenith Bank had set aside N20 billion for the election. With his eyes on the money, all that he heard from God was that Umeoji would be APGA candidate.
It was reported that during Umeorji’s court cases, the scammer continued to prophesy, offering false hope and claiming that although the journey would be difficult, it would end happily. His parish, Blessed Iwene Tansi Catholic Church in Umudioka, Dunukofia Local Government Area, became a hub for distributing Chukwuma Umeoji’s campaign vehicles. The rest is history as all his prophecy and anointing proved to be a scam.
EBUBEMOUNSO SCAMMED SENATOR ANDY UBA:
Once Hon. Umeoji’s chapter was closed, Father Ebubemounso quickly shifted his focus to his long-time friend, Senator Andy Uba of the APC. It’s worth recalling that he previously shared a story about how the former senator provided a trailer load of cement for the construction of his Adoration Ministry and other business ventures. With millions of naira stuffed in a Ghana Must Go bag, the scammer priest prophesied and assured Andy that he would win the election, giving him false hope.
The political priest only prophesies for those willing to spend money; if you’re not ready to outspend others, you might as well forget it. He deceived Senator Andy right up until the Supreme Court ruled that he was not an APC candidate. The political priest even campaigned for Andy in his polling unit and ward, where he ultimately lost to Soludo of the APGA. He boasted that even if Soludo won on the ballot, Senator Andy would still prevail through the courts. He was certain of this and claimed that God told him.
At one particular event, the priest organized a gathering of “Adoration Women” for Senator Andy Uba at Umudioka inviting the senator, who made a substantial donation. They celebrated together, dancing while the women wore red headscarves and white tops. According to Andy Uba’s supporters, Ebubemuonso fleeced him of amounts they feel embarrassed to mention.
Unfortunately, Senator Andy Uba did not succeed; his supporters threatened to burn down the Adoration Ministry until stakeholders intervened. Andy was left heartbroken because he even borrowed money to finance the election due to misleading prophecies from Fada Ebubemounso.
EBUBE MUONSO’s BROTHER DECAMPED TO THE APC…
During the height of misleading prophecies, false assurances, and political opportunism, Fada Ebubemounso convinced his elder brother, Hon. Charles Obimma, an APGA legislator in the 7th State House, to switch his support to Andy Uba and the APC campaign. The legislator, along with others, later became campaign director for Senator Andy Uba. Unfortunately, they all ended up losing in their polling units and wards during the election.
Another noteworthy point in this expose is that Fada Ebubemounso was unable to perform any miracles or rituals to help his brother win re-election to the 8th State Assembly in 2023. If the so-called powerful Ebubemuonso couldn’t secure a victory for his brother in just one state constituency (one out of 30) one must wonder who he could help win an election. Ebubemuonso remains nothing but a damp squib!
FADA EBUBEMOUNSO VS. SOLUDO: THE FACTS
The fact is that Soludo is a devout Catholic who strongly believes in his Holy Rosary and not in false prophecies. There is no way he would have denied a Catholic priest the opportunity to lay hands on him, especially at the altar. Fada Ebubemounso’s claim that he prayed and prophesied about Soludo becoming Obiano’s successor is a blatant lie, an attempt to save face. This priest never supported or campaigned for Obiano’s candidate, Soludo, even when everyone knew that the Catholic Church strongly supported Soludo. For Ebubemuonso it is cash and carry.
The second time Soludo attended the Adoration Ministry was at the invitation of the then Governor Obiano. The first time was years back when Fada Ebubemounso invited Soludo to speak to the 5,000 youths he organized for a Youth Conference -that was years ago when he sent delegates to plead with Soludo to be a keynote Speaker in the event. Soludo met him for the first and last time at that event in 2017 until early 2021.
On the invitation of the then Governor Obiano—specifically during the 10th anniversary of Ebubemounso’s priestly ordination…..Obiano had invited Soludo, his party’s candidate, to attend alongside Mrs. Ebele Obiano. During the offertory, Ebubemuonso was standing and laying hands upon all “prominent people/politicians”who went to drop their offerings. Soludo left the church after the offertory to attend other events. It was reported that at the end there was special “fundraising”. While other party candidates made significant financial donations including Senator Andy Uba, who donated 25 million naira along with various donations from his campaign council, Soludo did not make any financial contributions before leaving the Adoration Ministry while the event was still ongoing to attend to other commitments.
Yes, Ebubemounso was able to lay his hands on Soludo’s head to pray for him, just as he did with other candidates present in the church that day during the offertory. However, Ebubemounso failed to demonstrate the courage to mention the name of the individual who would succeed Chief Obiano. All the candidates were present together, and no specific name was mentioned. Seeing that most of the candidates—- certainly the top ones, he tried the well known vague prophecy that “the next governor of Anambra is in the house”. All the candidates looked at each other in amusement. Ofcourse one of them would certainly be governor—- clever by half!
DID EBUBEMUONSO’s FAKE PROPHECY KILL IFEANYI UBAH?
After Andy Uba failed and Soludo refused to allow him access to Anambra’s finances, he switched to Ifeanyi Uba — giving him the usual fake prophecy that he will be governor in 2025. He assured UBAH that he heard from God and Ifeanyi Ubah went on overdrive— over stressing himself until his regrettable death. Is Ebubemuonso not the cause of Ubah’s death?
In light of this, I challenge Fada Ebubemounso to do the following:
- Produce a video where he explicitly mentions Soludo’s name as Obiano’s successor.
- Produce a video showing his support or campaigning for Soludo’s candidacy.
- Name anyone he has supported who subsequently won an election.
- Deny that he did not directly or indirectly cause Ifeanyi Ubah’s death
- Explain why he asked his brother who was in the House of Assembly under APGA to resign and join Andy Uba in APC if he ever supported Soludo?
- Why did his two elder brothers hurriedly join APC then and campaigned with Any Uba?
- Let him deny that he organized his women organization for Andy Uba at which Andy promised to provide interest free loan to them if he won.
In conclusion, I have a vision that one day, our security agencies, while addressing the root of criminality, will investigate the Adoration Ministry in Uke, which has been associated with adulterated miracles and fake prophecies which have ruined many lives. This place is not different from the shrines of Akwa Okuku, Eke Hit, and Onye Eze Jesus. It is therefore important that we start unmasking this so-called men of God whose alter only serves as a conduit to fleece thousands of gullible Nigerians and ruin their lives.
