Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, has expressed warm greetings and congratulations to all Muslim faithfuls in Anambra State and across Nigeria as they commemorate the blessed occasion of Eid-el Maulud, which marks the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
In a Statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Christian wished the Muslim Ummah happy Eid-el Maulud celebrations.
The Governor noted that this significant event holds great importance for Muslims worldwide, as it offers an opportunity for reflection, gratitude, and renewed commitment to the teachings and principles exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
‘’The teachings of the Prophet Muhammad inspire values of peace, tolerance and unity, which are essential for the progress and harmony of any society.’’
The Governor said that the occasion reminds every one of the responsibility in building a more inclusive, harmonious, and progressive society, as well as sharing the spirit of generosity and kindness with fellow citizens.
