Imolites from different walks of life and varied political leanings have continued to praise Governor Uzodimma’s visionary governance in the last five years, declaring that the businessman turned politician is building the Imo they had all desired, especially, through the provision of durable and viable infrastructure and expanding economic opportunities for many Imolites.
The Director of Political Operations of the Imo Advancement Group, Hon Nathan Obiaku described the governor as the “Midas Governor” who has diligently persecuted his “Shared Prosperity” agenda to the benefit and admiration of the majority of Imolites. He urged the governor to continue to prioritise the welfare of ordinary Imolites.
Speaking to some journalists in Owerri recently, Hon Nathan Obiaku, a good governance advocate called for more support for Governor Uzodimma from Imolites while deprecating the activities of
“The Imo Advancement Group fights for the people and stands for the people. We support programs of government that benefit the people and advise the government when we feel it is derailing from its core responsibilities towards the people. We do not represent any political Party or interest groups; hence, our opinions and interventions must be taken at face value.”
“We have followed with unbiased interest, the activities of the governor in the last five years, and we are proud to declare that the governor is not only building a State for the future, but that his visions clearly align with our dreams and those of the majority of Imolites. We urge the governor not to relent nor allow himself to be distracted by some up starters and political spoilers whose sole interest is to grab power, without really knowing what to do with the power.”
He urged Imolites to stand firmly behind the governor as he continues to drive development and reforms across the nooks and crannies of the State.
“Our appeal to all Imolites, therefore, is to continue to stand firmly behind the governor as he continues to stir the wheel of progress and prosperity for all of us. We can assure you that the governor is building a State that our future generation of Imolites would be proud to identify with and he is setting the right foundations for greater prosperity long after his tenure has elapsed.”
His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma, CON, remains committed to his covenant with Imolites and would continue to work until his final day in office, in order to ensure that Imolites get the best in infrastructure, social welfare and public service.
