In a heartwarming display of kindness and generosity, the Apex of Charity Initiative and the Ommex Global Resources Limited have organized a philanthropic outreach program for the elderly and less privileged in Suleja, Niger State tagged Keeping Hope Alive.
The remarkable event, which was the second edition of its kind, saw the distribution of food, cash, and free medical tests to hundreds of beneficiaries.
Speaking during the event, the Chief Executive Officer of Ommex Global Resources Limited and Founder of the Apex of Charity Initiative, Mr. Emmanuel Mmaduabuchi revealed that the philanthropic endeavor is a divine calling, inspired by his personal experiences with poverty during his early days and the deep compassion for humanity.
He spoke on how, in the year 2017, he received a directive from God to reach out to communities and offer assistance.
“It’s a divine mission designed by God, because growing up in starvation here in Suleja, I prayed to God for success, which he has granted me enough to reach out to others,” he explained.
Outlining the primary goal of the Foundation which is to make difference in the society, to serve humanity with pure heart at the highest point, Mr. Emmanuel urged the government to provide the people with basic needs.
Recounting his days of struggles, the Apex founder appreciated his wife, Mrs. Evelyn Emmanuel for standing and believing in him when everyone had seen him as never a do well.
The OMMEX’s boss humility and gratitude to God for his breakthrough are evident in his words, “God has given me the privilege and an assignment to share with people, so, why won’t I do so? It’s just sacrosanct for me to reach out, mostly from a community where I grew up in.”
Addressing the elderly and everyone present, Mr. Emmanuel’s wife and the co-founder of the Apex of Charity Initiative, Mrs. Evelyn emphasized the importance of proper medical checks and the need to provide the welfare of the people and providing the basic needs, hence the organizing of the free medical outreach for High Blood Pressure and Sugar level tests. She described mothers as “Generals of homes” as ordained by God.
The event, which was attended by representatives of dignitaries including the Member, House of Representatives, for Suleja, Gurara and Tafa, Hon. Adamu Tanko Lokoja, by Hon. Yahaya Saduiki, the Chairman of Local Government Council, Hon. Ishaku Bawa Neubi, Hon. Aemichi. T. Iyei, Chief of Gwarzunu, Alh. Useni Haruna, Hon. Gambo Useni, the Speaker of Suleja Council among others, was a testament to Mr. Emmanuel’s commitment to giving back to the society.
The dignitaries and representatives unanimously emphasized on the need for people to shun religious sentiments over humanity, stating that Apex of Charity have challenged them as a government to do more.
They also called on the beneficiaries’ prayers for their benefactors to be strengthened to do more in the line of action.
“Apex Initiative have challenged us to do more as a government and despite our projects such as sinking of boreholes, amidst others, this is indeed a monumental edifice for us all to build on for the future.” Hon Gambo Useni stated.
Appreciating the Apex Group for their kind gestures towards the elderly, Rev. Father representing ECWA Church, Barde Moses, thanked God for the initiative of giving back to the society as the generosity done to any man is unto God. He recited Matthew 25 which reads “Whatever you do to the midst of my brethren, that, you also do unto me.”
The beneficiaries of the outreach program were visibly moved by the kindness and generosity of the sponsors and his team. The recipients of the palliatives were overwhelmed with emotion as they prayed earnestly for God’s blessings and replenishment.
The Apex Chairman’s inspiring story is a testament to the power of perseverance and determination. From growing up in poverty to becoming a successful entrepreneur, his journey is a motivation to many. His commitment to giving back to the society is a shining example of the impact one person can have on the lives of others.
