The HUMAN RIGHTS WRITERS ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA (HURIWA) is delighted to announce the highly anticipated 2023 Annual Lecture, scheduled to take place on the 27th of September 2023.


This distinguished event will serve as a platform for in-depth deliberation on the pressing topic of the “Nationality Question in Nigeria: Issues, Challenges, and Solutions.”

The lecture aims to shed light on the multifaceted aspects that encompass the question of nationality in Nigeria, exploring its complexities and the challenges it presents Distinguished speakers and renowned experts from various fields, including human rights lawyers, academia, and leaders of different agencies will converge to share their valuable insights and expertise

.During the event, participants will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions, exchange ideas, and propose viable solutions to the intricate issues surrounding nationality in Nigeria.
