Leading By Example: Part Two

Leading By Example: Part Two

Hey guys, good morning and welcome to a brand-new week!

As promised, I am going to lead some discussions on this important topic, “leading by example: the power of actions over words.”

I hope you watched the video I published on Saturday, on this subject matter. If you didn’t, please, go and watch it.

Like I said in the earlier publication, this concept of leading by example transcends #religion, #language and #culture and it represents a powerful strategy for inspiring others and driving meaningful change.

So, what’s the essence of leading by example?

Simply put, leading by example means embodying all the principles, values, and behaviors you as a leader wishes to see in others. It is about demonstrating commitment, responsibility, and integrity through actions rather than just in words.

It has been proven beyond every reasonable doubt that, leaders who practice this principle usually build trust and respect within their teams and communities, thereby establishing an environment where others feel motivated to do the same.

Leading by examples creates a ripple effect…

When leaders consistently model exemplary behaviors in their organizations or communities, they create a ripple effect. Their employees, students, or community members are more likely to adopt similar attitudes and practices, which ultimately results in a cohesive and a well-motivated group.

Therefore, as I close the session for today, let me leave you with these examples:

1) A business leader who prioritizes transparency and open communication will foster a culture of honesty and collaboration in his or her organization.

2) Likewise, a teacher or an educator who demonstrates passion and dedication in school will automatically instill the same enthusiasm among his or her students.

3) And lastly, a political leader who prioritizes the welfare of the people he or she is leading would receive massive support and encouragement from them.

4) Go ahead and add your own examples….

TO BE CONTINUED…

For lack of space, this discussion will continue in my next edition but please, feel FREE to add your thoughts in the comment section, so that the discussion can continue.
