It’s over a year that Anambara South have Vacancy in the Senate, yet INEC is keeping the election under cooler and unconcern because it’s an Igbo State ,as if na úsú enweró ónu,but the truth is that our Leaders are silent out of belief that we are inferior or that they have gotten enough POLITICAL baggage that they fear scaring the other side who got them under a barrel as closest slaves.
I know if that happened in other State , INEC Would’ve move mountains to have a Replacement election within 90 days, but now it affects the most marginalized Ethnic without balls, no mouth to speak ,no platform to speak because the leaders of Ndigbo held every position to strangulation Choke.
INEC have become more redundant that her usual self, especially in things that concern Ndigbo because we won’t speak even when we are in democracy as in óchichi onye kwue Uche ya ,but our leaders only speak the language that will fatten individual pockets and become dumb on things affecting the Masses.
The question is ..
1) Will a replacement SENATOR recover all remuneration due for the office ? Or it shall start counting from the day the Newly elected were sworn in and serving?
2) The Block salaries of the Senate for ANAMBRA South including that of the Staff to the Senator, will it be paid to the State, The Zone or the replacement SENATOR? As I know that FEDERAL Government did not stop the salaries for the late Senator, they send money in bulk, so the money will be stucked in Senate vault or somebody is misappropriating the Money.
I wonder what is Holding INEC if not Spirit of hatred for anything ANAMBRA, they should come and have the Doggone replacement election, so that Anambara will have a complete representation ,even though na our remaining Senators that are serving na ekwó AGU afú ónu, but it’s our loss and can never be consolidated by Senate itself.
Because of nature of the Vacant seat , it’s imperative that Anambara South must send a Legislative Veteran, so they will be REPRESENTED with Full chest.
As we know the tenure of the current Senate is about 2 years give or take ,if they elect a Rookie, then the person will still be doing inspection of Senate complex Akara agbasa, Senate is never for POLITICAL Rookies, it’s for Legislative Veterans, which should be why ANAMBARA south should choose between…
1) Chris Azubuogu who served and gathered experience in the House of Representatives and most Men in SENATE are his mate from the former.
He know his Onus in legislative dog eat dog.
2) Chuma Nzeribe, the Civilian General whose Tenure in House of Representatives gladden the Heart of Ndi Anambara as he is a Gladiator, if that Man is the Senate and MNK is been used as Pawn at POLITICAL twist, Óka egosigo Senate na he is a General, infact he would’ve made them to know that Madness is universal, he is a battalion of Men in a Man .
As for Ndi Ózó,they should continue with philanthropic moves ,they will mistake Senate House as Arms giving , infact they will be shaking to meet other long time Senators, infact fa ga eji Aka na abó Ekwe fa na AKA and somebody will hold them by the hand and be introducing them to other Senators but with the above 2 veterans, it’s other Senators that will be rushing to greet them and welcome them back.
The Rookies may even give away constituency projects to Ndi Awusa as philanthropist ,so they can be loved.
There’s a difference between Anya Eji achú Ego and Nke Eji eje POLITICAL confrontations.
I saw some Manifesto of Aspirants advertising how they will build Houses, give alms to constituency and many other childish allusions, meaning they don’t even know what they will be doing in the Senate is legislative work and not Governance .
Anyway ,let INEC come down and do the election, and I will suggest, if they delay more ,let Anambara State government go for TENURE interpretation, as this marginalization must be challenged.
