Natasha: True Hero of Ebira People

Natasha: True Hero of Ebira People

It’s utterly shameful and appalling that some individuals are calling for the recall of Senator Natasha, a true hero and advocate for the Ebira people, Kogi Central, and Nigeria as a whole.

Despite her tireless efforts to restore the glory of Ajaokuta, a project that has the potential to transform the lives of countless Nigerians, some people have chosen to ignore her contributions and instead focus on their own selfish interests.

Senator Natasha’s commitment to justice, transparency, and accountability is unwavering, and her suspension from the Senate is a clear indication that she refused to compromise her values and principles to satisfy the whims of the Senate President. Rather than being recalled, Senator Natasha deserves our utmost respect, admiration, and gratitude for her courage and determination to fight for what is right, even in the face of adversity.

In her short time in office, Senator Natasha has achieved a remarkable track record. She has attracted employment opportunities for graduates and beneficiaries from her District to gain employment in Federal establishments. This effort has not only provided jobs but has also boosted the economy and improved the standard of living for many families.

Some of her notable achievements include:

– SPONSOR KEY BILLS: Senator Natasha has sponsored key bills, including the Gold Reserve Bill and the Federal Medical Centre, Ihima, establishment Bill. These bills aim to introduce novelties in the management of gold resources and banking reserves, and cater to the welfare and health needs of her constituents.

INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS:

Senator Natasha has initiated various infrastructure projects, including the construction of a brand-new Model Primary and Secondary school in Osara, and the facilitation of a Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics at the Federal College of Education, Okene. These projects have improved access to quality education and provided opportunities for skills development, empowering the youth and preparing them for the challenges of the future.

WATER AND SANITATION: Senator Natasha has provided 12 massive 50,000 litres solar-powered motorised water systems reticulated to 300 locations, providing 1,800 fetching taps. This project has ensured access to clean water, improved sanitation, and reduced the burden of water-borne diseases on communities.

EMPOWERMENT AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP: Senator Natasha has empowered over 1,300 artisans, comprising women and youths, with tools, equipment, and cash grants for their businesses. This initiative has promoted entrepreneurship, job creation, and economic growth, helping to reduce poverty and inequality.

DIGITAL LEARNING:

Senator Natasha has deployed 5,000 digital learning devices to public primary and secondary schools across Kogi Central. This effort has enhanced the learning experience, improved academic performance, and prepared students for success in an increasingly digital world.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM:

Senator Natasha’s foundation, the Natasha Akpoti–Uduaghan Foundation (NAUF), has also supported the tuition of 353 indigent and vulnerable students from the District in tertiary institutions nationwide. This scholarship program has provided opportunities for higher education, helping to break the cycle of poverty and empowering young people to reach their full potential.

Most notably, Senator Natasha has lit up the entire Kogi Central, bringing light and prosperity to the region. Her electrification project has improved the quality of life, enhanced economic activities, and reduced the risk of accidents and crimes.

It’s essential for the people of Kogi Central to recognize the quality representation Senator Natasha has provided and rally around her against those who seek to destroy her reputation.
