The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) has expressed sadness over the demise of the former President of Nigeria, Alhaji Muhammadu Buhari.
The Group in a statement issued by the National Chairperson of the association, Hajiya Aishatu Ibrahim, signed by National Secretary Wasilah Ladan , eulogized the many virtues of the Late Muhammadu Buhari describing him as a disciplined and patriotic leader, whose traits has earned tremendous respect from leaders and people all over the world.
NAWOJ recognize the Late leader’s contributions to the development and unity of this country and hope that his legacies will continue to inspire the women and youths of this country to always strive for the truth and excellence, and make positive impacts in their communities and the nation.
NAWOJ prayed for the comfort and strength of his family and friends during this difficult time, as they mourn the loss of a remarkable leader and loved one.
