The National Council for Women Societies (NCWS), has congratulated comrade Grace Ike on her historic emergence as the first female Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Council.
The NCWS in a statement signed by its Acting National President, Geraldine Etuk who described the winning as a monumental achievement stated that it is a proud moment for Nigerian women and a testament to the progress we are making in advancing gender equality and women’s leadership across all sectors of society.
According to her, ” Grace Ike’s emergence is not only a personal triumph but also a beacon of inspiration for women and girls nationwide who aspire to break barriers and take up leadership positions in traditionally male-dominated spaces.”
The group extolled Grace Ike’s leadership prowess while pledging their support to her.
