The National Leadership & Management of Muslim and Christian Youths integration for good leadership Initiative (MCY) on Saturday, extended its warmest wishes to the Muslim sisters and brother as they proceed with Ramadan.
MCY in a statement co-signed by its National Chairman, Ambassador Anthony Amalu and National Secretary Aliyu Maryama stated that Ramadan is a period of reflection, prayers and a spiritual enriching time while encouraging Muslim faithful to embrace these values.
Calling for prayers that will bring about unity and enhance good leadership in Nigeria, the group expressed optimism in the power of collective prayers which can transform Nigeria regardless of faiths.
The statement reads:
“Assalamualaikum to our fellow Muslims
As we enter the blessed month of Ramadan, we extend our warmest wishes for a spiritually enriching and fulfilling time. Ramadan is a period of reflection, prayer, and community, and we encourage you to embrace these values wholeheartedly.
During this holy month, let us all come together to pray for the unity of our beloved country, Nigeria. May our prayers bring about good leadership, foster religious tolerance, and strengthen the bonds that hold us together as one nation.
We believe that through our collective prayers and actions, we can build a brighter future for all Nigerians, regardless of faith. Let us work hand in hand to promote harmony among our diverse communities.
