Senator Akobundu Eulogizes Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe @ 70

The Senator representing Abia Central Senatorial District in the Senate, Senator Austin Akobundu, has eulogized Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe on his birthday, describing him as a rare breed who has “impacted humanity in ways that have caused your name to be indelibly etched in gold in the annals of our nation and beyond.”

Senator Akobundu in his birthday message to Senator Abaribe, further described as “a man of great honour and uncommon valour” as he clocks 70 today, Saturday, March 1 2025.

The message reads: “It is with great joy that I rejoice with you on this auspicious occasion of your 70th birthday. Your accomplishments in diverse areas of life have set you apart as a rare breed. As a man of many parts, you have impacted humanity in ways that have caused your name to be indelibly etched in gold in the annals of our nation and beyond.

“Your forthrightness and uprightness in the pursuit of justice for all, irrespective of class and status, stand you out as a man of great honour and uncommon valour. Your tenacity and perseverance in the face of adversity while speaking for the downtrodden have made you a man greatly loved by his people. It is indeed true that the heavens themselves blazed forth your birth, hence, the earth gathers today to celebrate you.

“As a special gift from heaven to mankind, your mission is being accomplished, and destiny is being fulfilled as you keep offering yourself for selfless service to God and humanity.

“Just like the American author, Alfred Armand Montapert, once said, “The monument of a great man is not of granite or marble or bronze. It consists of his goodness, his deeds, his love and his compassion,” your goodness, deeds, love and compassion have sculpted a befitting monument in your name and pedestalled same in the hearts of many so that even generations yet unborn will continue to remember you.

“On behalf of my family and the people of Abia Central Senatorial District, I join members of your family, friends, associates and well wishers to pray God to keep preserving you in sound health and happiness so the world can keep tapping from your deep well of wisdom and fount of knowledge.
