Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has congratulated Dame (Dr.) Virgy Etiaba on the occasion of her 81st birthday celebration.
Dame Virgy Etiaba, CON, is a native of Nnewi and former Governor of Anambra State from November 2006 to February 2007, holds the distinction of being the first woman to serve as governor in Nigeria.
In a statement by Christian Aburime, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Soludo graciously offers his congratulations on behalf of the state and its citizens for reaching this remarkable milestone and for her unwavering commitment towards serving our great state.
The Governor recognizes that birthdays are momentous occasions which celebrate the gift of life, hence acknowledges her altruistic dedication and contributions to public service in Anambra State as commendable achievements.
Governor Soludo also prayed that as she commemorates this special day with loved ones and friends alike; ‘’may her life continue to overflow with boundless affection, good health and joy. He added.
