The Beauty In Diversity…♥️♥️

The Beauty In Diversity…♥️♥️

Yes, the entertainment world in Nigeria has been abuzz with the glamorous wedding activities of Davido and his wife Chioma.

Yeah, some ‘serious people’ might sneer at the events and analyze the various aspects and pretend to ‘’not care’ (even when they are following all the events in the media) 🤣.

However, one cannot discountenance the beauty and colourful import of marriages more so the inter-ethnic ones. Davido is not new to his wife’s ethnic lineage. His grandmother is of Igbo ancestry.

And I loved the beauty of representation and inclusion showcased by the cultural cocktail dressing and of events! 👏🏼

Nigerians are very passionate about their traditions and culture. Both Yoruba and Igbo cultural clothes and marriage rites were observed. None was given more value. ♥️

It was touching to see the guests that were a mixture of entertainers, traditional leaders some ‘mogbo moyas’🤣and politicians.

I loved it best seeing Davido being driven along the streets greeting regular fans who could not gain entrance to the venue. He is such a regular, empathetic, respectful soul. ♥️

The unity of the families must teach some Nigerians lessons.

Nigeria has beautiful people only poisoned by very empty and selfish political charlatans who funnily were grinning from molars to premolars at the wedding! 😌

It is so paradoxical that some elite politicians and their cronies had always attacked and continue to instigate attacks on the Igbos in Nigeria especially in Lagos just for selfish reasons.

The last elections in 2023 showed the very divisive nitwits that felt that children of mixed parentage are less deserving of opportunities to vote and be voted for in Lagos as they were seen as ‘not Yoruba enough’!😌

Davido is an American citizen and sadly it might be easier for their kids to aspire for political offices in America than in some parts of Nigeria given the 2023 divisive political rhetoric. 🤦‍♀️

Given how loved Davido is in Nigeria given his large heart, he will, if he contests in a free and fair election defeat many of the bi.gots in Lagos that only see differences! He has Igbo ancestors and he is from Osun state!

It is beautiful to see the love and excitement this marriage generated in a country so weighed down by socio-economic problems! 👏🏼

This is hoping that the couple be allowed to live peacefully having satisfied the societal requirement of formalizing their union.

The Adeleke and Raymond families have shown exceptional support and love to the couple in ways that is exemplary! The prayers of the father of the bride says it all and the support of the Adelekes and their family solidarity says something about the beauty of family united by love, dance (my mind on Gov. Adeleke🤣) and laughter! ♥️

The highlight of the marriage must be the promise by Davido to Chioma’s parents that he will, “Protect, respect and connect” his wife. The world will hold him to his words! 😂

It is a vow that the world is waiting to tick the boxes for while expecting Chioma to fulfill her on part of the marriage journey too. It is a two way street. 😍

To the very happy couple, the wedding is over and now the journey of marriage starts for two of the most analyzed humans in Nigeria’s social scene!😂

Their marriage comes at a time the social institution is under deep skepticism and trepidation by even uninformed pessimists. Marriage is the foundation of families and even if some fail, many are still success stories of perseverance, commitment and kindness. Marriage is beautiful but it is hard work too. ♥️

Good luck to two of them as they take their roles as beacons to other young people very dedicatedly. Here’s hoping the notorious “Online In-laws would “allow them to be humans” with all the imperfections we all share! 🙏🏼

May they fulfill their dreams of advancing human unity putting a lie to the insensitive barriers from selfish political nitwits!

May their marriage be blessed.♥️♥️🎈
