The Need to Renew Your Mind

The Need to Renew Your Mind

The word “MIND” is abstract. It simply means the performance or the functioning of the brain. The MIND is simply an intrinsic pattern of how we think or reason as human beings.

The Mind:

Your mind is the engine room of your life.

It’s the most important component of your being.

It is the part of you that thinks, reasons, feels, and remembers things.

Your mind is the machine that produces thoughts, ideas, desires, intentions, etc.

What It Means To Renew Mind:

To renew your mind is to reboot, refresh, readjust, revive, review, rebuild, or replace the content in your mind.

To realign or reposition your mind for positive and productive results or outcomes.

Why Renewing your Mind Is Necessary:

  1. Your mind is the most delicate and most vulnerable part of you.
  2. Your mind determines the things that happen in your world.
  3. If your mind is left unattended, it would attract all kinds of things to itself at your own risk.

Ways to Renew/Develop your Mind:

  1. Read good and meaningful books
  2. Engage in deep reflections, creative thinking, and constant meditation
  3. Build intellectual capability through knowledge
  4. Be flexible to adopt new views or opinions
  5. Watch and listen to productive messages
  6. Engage in quality and constructive interactions. Etc

Benefits of Renewing your Mind:

  2. You live a meaningful and successful life

NOTE:

It is your mind that determines the direction your life would go. So be careful how you handle your mind. *”Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Prov. 4:23.*
