Minister of Works, Honorable David Umahi, has condoled with the family of the late Honourable Dubem Onyia over his passge.
In a message by the Minister, he received the news with a great shock, as an iconic set of class keep falling along the line.
He expressed, “With a deep sense of sympathy, your notification letter on the loss of your dear father, Rt. Hon. Dubem Onyia, whose unfortunate demise occurred on 10th March 2025 at the age of 73 years is a sad news.
“Your late father was a man of positive mindset who was always optimistic about possibilities in all opportunities and endeavours he sought.
“He will be remembered for his sense of humanity, dexterity, and remarkable versatility in public service. He served meritoriously as Honourable Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and left indelible marks on Nigeria’s diplomatic landscape.
“My thoughts and deepest condolences go to you and indeed all the bereaved on this dark moment. As we pray for the eternal repose of the soul departed, we ask God to grant you the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Umahi went further to state, “Please accept the assurances of the compassionate considerations, esteemed regards, and best wishes of my family, the management and staff of the Federal Ministry of Works.
