I am writing to bring to the attention of the Inspector General of Police and the Commissioner of Police, Enugu State, a grave threat to my life posed by Hon. Stainless Nwodo, former Labour Party House of Representatives member for Uzouwani/Igbo-Etiti Federal Constituency.
Following the publication of my article titled “Cry for Help: The Agonizing Story of Anthony Amalu, Personal Assistant to Hon. Stainless Nwodo, I have been subjected to threats and intimidation by Hon. Stainless Nwodo”. This article detailed the sacrifices I made to support his political career, the betrayal I experienced, and the financial ruin I now face due to his actions.
Instead of seeking legal redressing, knowing fully well that I am well armed to the teeth with evidences of all my submission on the said publication, Hon. Stainless Nwodo has resorted to using his influence and connections to threaten me, even calling my wife, promising her hell and brimstone, further exacerbating my already dire situation. I fear for my safety and the safety of my family, as his threats have become increasingly alarming. He has threatened to take me up once my leg touches Enugu for a program I am billed to attend. The general public should be aware that if I am kidnapped or arrested or any harm happens to me, Hon. Stainless Nwodo should be held responsible.
Ever since he was thrown out of the House of Reps, he has been using his Official ID card to intimidate and cow some unsuspecting Law enforcement officers to do his bidding while claiming to be a federal law maker. Currently, he is intimidating a friend who paid N10M into my account on his behalf. This fellow is now on my neck because the money was paid into my account and he has used up the money. These criminal excesses should be checked by relevant security agencies.
I am calling on the Inspector General of Police and the Commissioner of Police, Enugu State, to urgently investigate this matter and ensure my protection. While also appealing to all well-meaning Nigerians, especially the good people of Igbo-Etiti/Uzo-Uwani Federal Constituency, Chief Nnia Nwodo, the Executive Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency Peter Mbah, Senator Okey Ezea, Rt. Hon. Mathins Oke, Rt Hon. Ikenga Ugochinyere, the Speaker of House of Representatives and the Speaker of Enugu State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Uche Ugwu to come to my aid and stand with me in seeking justice.
My only demand is for Hon. Stainless Nwodo to pay the N6.5 million agency fee owed to me, which would allow me to rebuild my life and provide for my family as a man. I am no longer seeking compensation beyond this amount; I simply want to move forward and regain stability. Secondly, he needs to clear me from the N10M brouhaha.
I trust that the relevant authorities will take swift action to address this issue and ensure justice is served.
