The man Hope Uzodimma is, no doubt a man with uncommon Grace. Whether you love or hate him, there is no denying of that fact.
As long as Iam concerned, he has a large dosage measure of Grace following him. If you can have a peep into his background, trajectory, ascendency and personage, you will have that fact concluded in your mind.
If you look critically at Sen Hope Uzodimma, you may be tempted to conclude that he is among the class that late literary giant Chinue Achebe once described as ‘those that the benevolent Spirits have cracked their Palm Kernels’.
You may be right in assuming that actually because the man had no aristocratic background as a person. He did not have a father whose name could open door for him both in the business and political world yet he bestrode his world like a Colossus and achieved what Children of the High and mighty could not achieve. .
In business, Hope Uzodimma made his marks. He made his name in the private sector and never had his back on the ground. He left Omuma, his home town as a boy without rich back account. He traveled out of his local village literally just with a lyon bag containing few of his cloths and he returned with briefcase containing currencies of different country denominations.
As a business man, he transformed his community, brought LGA Headquarters, awarded scholarships to many and did other things. He also extended his benevolence beyond Omuma and Oru East LGA .
In politics, he is no doubt currently an epicenter of the system. He is a huge success and needs no introduction in the political space in this county.any longer.
He made his name through dint of hard work, diligence and ability to navigate smartly across all the political turf. Like in the private sector where he did well, he is also doing super well in the political space. He was a Youth leader of a major Political party, Chairman of several national party committees, a BOT member of a ruling party, a two time senator and currently serving two time Governor and still counting, all already in his achievement bag. This by every measurement of assessment, is a huge success.
In philosophy, the man holds the axe. He is generally known to be an infectious giver and a pure humanist. He has built houses for indigents and built Churches all over the world, perhaps unknown to many.
He has given millions of dollars to uncountable number of people and paid medical bills to many. He has bought hundreds of vehicles to soo many persons and paid schools fees to yet uncountable persons etc. This is the only man who can give his last kobo to you if only that will make you happy and lift you out of your challenges. He finds it difficult to turn down your request for assistance. This is the vantage Uzodimma.
Though, that aspect of him has slightly nose-dived since he became Governor, apparently because of his resolve not to spend Imo money frivolously but prudently.
Governor Hope Uzodimma is so gifted intellectually that he teaches even professors in their field of sturdy. He knows too much about Law and legal jurisprudence, marine sector, political science, commerce, international affairs etc.
He is a veracious reader and a motivational speaker. He has gift of the garb and the gift of learning, understanding and retaining faster than many normal human beings. All these things are uncommon Grace.
In things of God, Sen Hope Uzodimma is a good Christian. He does unimaginable things for God. He does so many sacrifices that even many big Pastors cannot do. He attunes for his sins as a Christians that can surprise you when you get to know about it.
He reveres God so much and strives to do God’s Wills that can marvel you. He has a special way of connecting with his God that even those who stay outside and talk down on him, may not understand why God still shows His mercy on him.
Governor Hope Uzodimma, like the people of Israel, hardly loses any fight. He always win and has won battles that appeared impossible in the eye of mere mortals. Honestly, he is a man of immense Grace. You know God said ‘ I will have mercy to whom I will mercy and bless whom I will bless’ Governor Uzodimma fits into that divine assurance.
